Xanga Post: Sunday, May 30, 2004

Omg! Our biggest lizard dropped eighteen eggs yesterday! Of course, she hasn't moved an inch since then, the poor thing. Lol. We're doing our best to incubate them (Gollum is NOT happy to share her heat mat...) so we're hoping that we'll have at least one baby dragon in a month's time. *fingers crossed*

We also found out that Luna's mum had three more kittens last week so we're suppose to go look at them in a couple of weeks and see if we fancy one. Sometimes I think we need a sign outside the door that says "Vanian Zoo." Lol.

Jay's mum is taking me to the circus today.  We couldn't get ringside tickets because of the horses *sneeze* but I'm excited anyway. Jay can't go because he has to work and he's still sick anyway. (Two weeks is taking the piss for any cold.) I finally got rid of the blasted cold but Jay's mum has it now too. Anyway, I haven't been to a circus since elementary school so I'm happy. (I'm taking allergy pills and an inhaler anyway... Better safe than sorry. Lol. I remember what happened in Gatlinburg...)

Jay's friend Wally is taking me to see The Prisoner of Azkaban on Tuesday. Yay!  (I'd rather go with Jay, naturally, but he asked Wally to take me because he has to work.)

Only twenty days until the wedding. I'm very, very excited. Existing technology cannot measure how excited I am. Lol. Bev's making us a special dinner at the pub after and Jay's dad is gonna be there so it's all good. His nan says she probably won't make it but she rarely leaves the house any more from what I hear. It's too bad though.

Katie's due a week today and I'm excited about that too. I called her a couple of days ago and she sounds pretty excited herself. As soon as she gets here, she can help me start looking for a dress, shoes and flowers and stuff. Am I getting nervous....? Nah.... Lol.

Oh, and did I mention that Gabe's basement flooded and I lost a good majority of my possessions? That sucks but what can you do? The only thing that upsets me is that I still had like four hundred books down there. My books... My beautiful books...
