There isn't much I can say about Justin Tate's The Death Sonnets except I doubt I've ever had as much fun reading a sonnet before. (Though my sonnet experience is limited to Shakespeare so, you know...) This book is just plain fun.The Death Sonnets are whimsically twisted and creeptastically delightful. This book is a real treat for horror fans, Halloween lovers (or Halloween babies, like me,) and all your favorite weirdos.
Length is the only thing that lets The Death Sonnets down. It's just too short! I would happily devour four times as many of these strange little sonnets.
