31 Days of Classic Horror

Here at Castle Vanian, we decided to ring in Halloween by featuring 31 of the best classic horror movies, one for each day in October. By classic, we mean any movie made up to 2000.

Now, for the fun part! We've ranked the 31 movies on our list on a very particular set of criteria:
  • story
  • acting
  • how badly dated it was
  • how scary it was
  • how iconic it was
  • score/soundtrack
Any ties were broken by personal preference (and, occasionally, arm wrestling.)
