Only two days to go until my birthday! Yayness! I got a card from Rae and a nifty package from Katie. I feel so loved!

Jay took me to the pub last night for Quiz Night and we won. (The first round anyway.)

Jay and I went out to Newport today for a wander around. I got Columbo! Yay!

We also got a big pumpkin (By British standards. Lol.) that I'm going to attack tomorrow. Pumpkin seeds.... Mmmm...

My birthday is this Sunday! Yippie!

It takes me twenty minutes to walk to one of my favourite spots along the canal so I can sit, relax, and write while enjoying the beautiful autumn weather.

I sit down, open my notebook, pull the pen from by bun and start to write...

One line, ink looks a little faded...

Two line, ink starts to look blotchy...

Third line, no, please don't do this to me...

Fourth, no. It's dead.

There must be some sort of vengeful daemon, some anti-muse that haunts writers. To him, I say, "Bastard!"

The craft fair in Birmingham was great. The ticket seller mistook me for a twelve year old so I got in free. Is that a good thing? I got lots of craft goodies plus a new pentacle ring for less than £4. Yippie.

We got a new cat earlier in the week. It's pitch black with big brown eyes. Sue called it Midnight but I prefer to call it Hellspawn. It's totally feral. It hisses every time you get near it and has run away twice and hidden under our bed. Jay and I are betting that it runs away.

I fell down the stairs on Wed and smashed my tailbone. I couldn't walk right for two days. Ouch! (At least Jay was amused.)

We went to see Kevin "Bloody" Wilson on Thursday night. That was fun. His daughter Jenny Talia was on before him and she was great as well. They were both so raunchy.

Jay took me to order new glasses this week. I got to go through the fun eye watering exam. Wahoo. But, I've got two pairs of glasses coming on Wed! (I had to pick one pair out of the children's section because I couldn't find a pair small enough.)

We went out shopping yesterday and that was great. New clothes, yippie! We're out again tomorrow to Cardiff to have a look around.

Still doing the job hunt thing. Applications all over, no one cares.

London MCM Expo next weekend. That should be a fun convention.

We have to be on our way to England for a craft show by 8am tomorrow morning. That means that I'd have to be up by at least 7 to get ready... But Jay won't be home until at least 5am... So what's the point of going to sleep? Tomorrow might be a very long day. Especially since there's late night wrestling on!

I was suppose to hear from the theatre by today...Nothing. I guess that means they don't have anything for me.

Okay...So I might've set the microwave on fire a little bit.

I only meant to defrost the sausages... Should've noticed they were in a foil package...
